Easter Festivities

Easter morning before church. Josh is cold and Belle just wants to pose for the camera! This Easter was much better than last Easter. Last year we had just lost my father and were planning his funeral. This year was relaxing and filled with good friends. Our neighbors came over along with their families and we had a fun Easter dinner.

She should be a flower girl

The kids did an Easter egg hunt at our church where the youth group hid 1500 hard boiled eggs. Then we had one at our house with plastic eggs. The kids enjoyed looking through the eggs and eating the candy, counting the quarters and reading the coupons hidden in the eggs.

Kindergarten Here We Come

Last Monday, I registered Belle for Kindergarten. Hard to believe my baby is starting school. She was screened by Josh's Kindergarten teacher and she said that she was going to request that Belle be in her class. We are so thrilled that she will have her as a teacher. Now I need to figure out what I will do with all this free time! Any suggestions girls?

Honor Roll

Josh made Honor Roll again this 9 weeks. We are very proud of him. Second grade has been a big adjustment for him. We are happy that there are only 27 days left of school until summer!

Bowling

Belle's Pre-K class went on a field trip to the bowling alley. Belle was placed with a group of 3 boys. The boys were very concerned about winning and getting all the pins. Belle not so much. She would throw it and it would slowly roll down the alley. she would turn around and bounce back to the boys and not even look at what she knocked down.

Doesn't she look good in her pink tennis shoes and shirt! It is all about looking good.
